| The Hospital Management Programme's pre-authorisation process ensures added value for the member and the scheme by assessing the medical necessity and appropriateness of the planned intervention prior to the hospital event or admission. The process can be initiated by the member, medical practitioner or the hospital. The request can be submitted telephonically, electronically (e-mail and via the web) and by fax. | |
